Albert Jackson
Chief Executive Officer
Albert has managed businesses in more than 25 nations and has 25 years of experience in the energy sector. As the CEO of Oil Tank Supply, Albert is dedicated to creating a new, elite organization that improves business through fruitful partnerships and leads the energy transition.
Albert worked at OMV before joining Oil Tank Supply. He was in charge of the group’s supply, logistics, and commercial sales of refined products as well as petrochemicals in his capacity as Senior Vice President Product Supply & Sales and a member of the OMV Downstream leadership team. At Shell, where he began his career, Albert oversaw several downstream businesses in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania. Albert holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
Micheal Van der Wiel
Chief Growth Officer
Micheal van der Wiel, Oil Tank Supply’s Chief Growth Officer, is committed to maintaining the company’s customer-centric strategy and vision while enhancing its competitiveness. In 2001, Micheal began working for Oiltanking in Singapore as the Business Development Manager. He was transferred to Oman as Commercial Manager for Oiltanking Odfjell Terminals & Co. after more than five years in the area.
As Chief Executive Officer of the joint venture between Star Energy and Oiltanking in Dubai, Micheal took on the challenge in August 2009. He relocated back to Singapore in August 2013 to assume the role of Vice President Commercial, Oiltanking Asia Pacific for a year before being named President, Oiltanking Asia Pacific. He moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to take on the position of senior vice president for Oiltanking’s EMEA region there. Micheal is a graduate of Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, with a degree in business administration.
Julia Nijhoff
Chief People Officer
Julia strives to unleash the potential of highly engaged, empowered employees in his capacity as chief people officer. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the leadership team at Oil Tank Supply. She has a passion for working with people and a demonstrated track record in the successful delivery of large projects with complex stakeholder patterns.
Julia worked in human resources for a number of different, big-name businesses before joining Oil Tank Supply. That covers a number of positions at the Dutch multinational Friesland Campina, which manufactures dairy goods for both the consumer market and the professional market. Julia was ultimately in charge of the People department at Friesland Campina, a company with distribution centers and retail locations in 32 countries, over 3500 employees, and annual sales exceeding 3 billion euros. She also oversaw the organization’s review and the global supply chain capability for 15,000 workers. Prior to deciding to join Oil Tank Supply, she held the position of Chief Human Resources Director for the Netherlands division of Rabobank’s retail banking business.
The Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam in the Netherlands is where Julia earned his master’s degree in culture, organization, and management.
James Frankly
Chief Operational Officer
James is a senior executive with international experience who is passionate about leading and transforming organizations towards excellence. He has 25 years of leadership experience in business unit and corporate executive roles.
James was in charge of Oiltanking’s global assets, operations, and health and safety strategy before being named Chief Operational Officer at Oil Tank Supply, which improved profitability, productivity, and safety performance. As Managing Director of Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp NV, James joined Oiltanking in 2013.
James began his career at Solvay, where he oversaw several petrochemical production facilities in France and Belgium. James oversaw Gerresheimer GmbH’s moulded glass business in the US prior to joining Oiltanking.
James graduated with a master’s in chemical engineering from the Free University of Brussels in Belgium.
Wilma Hofstee
SVP Strategy, Portfolio and Sustainability
With more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Roderic has primarily worked for Shell in commercial leadership and M&A/business development positions throughout the entire downstream supply chain.
He has led customer-facing businesses and been involved in numerous growth initiatives in the downstream and renewables sectors, such as acquisitions and joint ventures in the retail, clean energy, and biofuels industries. He has also overseen extensive restructuring- and divestment programs around the world.
Wilma plays a key role in shaping and implementing Oil Tank Supply’s forward-thinking strategy, M&A agenda, and ambitious Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda as Senior Vice President (SVP) Strategy, Portfolio, and Sustainability.
Wilma graduated with a Master of Science in Business from the University of Groningen.
Tess Ockels
Chief Financial Officer
Tess Ockels, a finance executive with 27 years of experience in multinational companies in the Oil & Gas, Water, Waste, Electricity, and Transport sectors, is in charge of Oil Tank Supply’s global finances.
Numerous nations, including Monaco, China, Hong Kong, the UK, the USA, Equatorial Guinea, Qatar, and the UAE, are among those where Tess has lived and worked. Tess previously served as CFO Middle East for Egis, a French engineering and project management company, before joining Oil Tank Supply. Additionally, she has worked for organizations like SBM Offshore, Alstom Grid, Suez Group, Europcar, and Deloitte in senior finance and audit positions.
Tess graduated with a master’s degree in economics and business administration from the French Audencia Business School.
Evelyn Elizabeth
VP Communications & Transformation
Evelyn is a skilled leader of change and corporate communication. As the VP of Communications and Transformation, she oversees strategic planning, employee engagement, reputation management, stakeholder and media engagement, as well as the creation and maintenance of the company’s culture.
Evelyn worked at Shell in a variety of corporate communications positions in the company’s upstream division before joining Oil Tank Supply. She specialized in non-technical risk management, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communications. She relocated to the Netherlands in 2015 to work as the internal communications strategy manager, where she was in charge of assisting leaders in comprehending and interpreting Shell’s new energy transition strategy for their respective teams. After this assignment, Amber worked for Shell as the Communications Manager for the Integrated Gas business, where she assisted with a variety of organizational changes and transformations, most notably the expansion of the integrated gas business and the start-up of Shell’s renewable and energy solutions business.
Evelyn holds degrees in applied communications from Mount Royal University in Canada and management from the London School of Economics in the UK.
